the road trip father son comedy <strong>Runs in the Family,<\/strong> currently screening on Netflix, and the investigative thriller <strong>Death of a Whistleblower<\/strong> currently screening on Amazon Prime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gabriel\u2019s two films were released in rapid succession between mid-2023 and early 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Death Of A Whistleblower TRAILER\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3Xvju5t_f1w?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A further double has been scored for Death of a Whistleblower which has nominations in both the Best Film and Best African Film categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"RUNS IN THE FAMILY Official Trailer\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iNPpxdrQKek?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Death of a Whistleblower already holds the Best African Film accolade awarded at the 2024 Joburg International Film Festival whilst Runs in the Family was awarded the Best South African Film accolade at the 2023 Durban International Film Festival and was nominated in the Outstanding Film category at this year\u2019s 35<sup>th<\/sup> Annual GLAAD Awards in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled that these two films have travelled so well and continue to thrill audiences at festivals around the world,\u201d says director, Ian Gabriel.&nbsp;
