(Description courtesy of Disney+)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Guest Bio<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yan Miles is an award-winning editor with years of experience on prestigious projects, and a member of the American Cinema Editors guild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yan was recognized with two Emmys for editing some of the iconic TV moments, episode 403 of&nbsp;<em>The Crown<\/em>&nbsp;titled&nbsp;<em>Fairytale<\/em>&nbsp;and season 3 finale of&nbsp;<em>Sherlock<\/em>&nbsp;titled&nbsp;<em>His Last Vow<\/em>, which also earned him an ACE Eddie Award and a BAFTA TV Craft Award. His win on&nbsp;<em>The Crown<\/em>&nbsp;was also the culmination of his work on the show throughout the first four seasons and an effect of his longtime collaboration with the director Benjamin Caron.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, Yan edited three episodes of Lucasfilm\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Andor<\/em>, including&nbsp;<em>Messenger, Who Are You?<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Welcome to the Rebellion<\/em>. In 2020 he edited Netflix\u2019s series&nbsp;<em>White Lies<\/em>&nbsp;with the showrunner \u00c1lex Pina, and in 2018 he worked on Mike Bartlett\u2019s BBC miniseries&nbsp;<em>Press<\/em>. Since his first credit as an editor on the miniseries&nbsp;<em>The Prisoner<\/em>, Yan quickly established himself as a prominent drama editor with credits on fan-favorite&nbsp;<em>Game of Thrones<\/em>&nbsp;and critically acclaimed British shows&nbsp;<em>Primeval<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Endeavour<\/em>, and&nbsp;<em>Fortitude<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His recent work on&nbsp;<em>Sharpe<\/em>r is an excellent example of how Yan prioritizes characters and their unique stories while editing feature films.
