Mad Swimmers take on the Dead Sea<\/h6>\n

They\u2019re not called mad swimmers for nothing. In 2015 they set a world record by swimming in the highest and coldest water in the world\u2014in the Andes at 5909 metres above sea level, in hypothermic conditions. Now the team of swimmers have taken on their maddest and most dangerous swim for charity yet\u201417km across the Dead Sea where extreme salt content makes a gruelling swim, near impossible. Carte Blanche witnesses history in the making as so-called Madswimmers from Israel, New Zealand, Jordan, Palestine and South Africa brave the lowest lying body of water on earth.
