\u2013Late-night talk show host, producer and comedian Jimmy Kimmel confirmed on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d that he will host the 89th Oscars\u00ae to be broadcast live on Oscar\u00ae Sunday, February 26, 2017, on the ABC Television Network. This is Kimmel\u2019s first time hosting the global telecast.<\/p>\n
\u201cMike and Jennifer have an excellent plan and their enthusiasm is infectious,\u201d said Kimmel. \u201cI am honored to have been chosen to host the 89th and final Oscars.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 89th Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the Dolby Theatre\u00ae at Hollywood & Highland Center\u00ae in Hollywood, and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 7 p.m. ET\/4 p.m. PT.
