shnit INTERNATIONAL SHORTFILMFESTIVAL 2013 – SUBMISSION DEADLINE APPROACHES!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The eleventh edition of the festival will be held 2 to 6th October 2013 in ten cities across 5 continents including Cape Town, South Africa.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

International submissions are open for films of all genres, with a total length up to 40 minutes. In five categories, 100.000 CHF \/ 80.000 \u20ac \/ US$105.000 in total prize money will be awarded. <\/span><\/p>\n

Submissions accepted via DVD or online screener.\u00a0 Films are to be programmed in International Competition and in multiple out-of-competition categories. South African entries are also considered for MADE IN SOUTH AFRICA award category and KAAPSE BOBOTIE out-of-competition category.<\/span><\/p>\n

All film selections to take place in Bern, Switzerland.\u00a0 South African screeners can however be delivered to Shnit International Shortfilmfestival SA, 47 Ritchie Street, University Estate, Cape Town, 7925. <\/i><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

shnit OPEN \u2013 pro entry (with entry fee): <\/b>With the \u00abshnit OPEN \u2013 pro entry\u00bb the festival provides a feedback system which is unique within the scope of film festivals. The aim is to give filmmakers valuable feedback on their work to enhance their artistic potential for future projects and for other festival submissions. Usually festivals do not give substantial nor personal feedback.<\/span><\/p>\n
