Private Prosecution REPEAT<\/h6>\n

It\u2019s a highly unusual, expensive and time-consuming process. But, for ordinary people frustrated with the State withdrawing its case against an accused or simply failing to prosecute, the option of running a private prosecution is another means to secure a conviction. Carte Blanche meets a tenacious family that chose this legal route, to see their daughter\u2019s killer recently convicted and sentenced to 15 years in jail \u2013 11 years after her death.<\/p>\n
