Acclaimed filmmaker Guy Ritchie brings his dynamic style to the epic fantasy action adventure \u201cKing Arthur: Legend of the Sword.\u201d Starring Charlie Hunnam in the title role, the film is an iconoclastic take on the classic Excalibur myth, tracing Arthur\u2019s journey from the streets to the throne.<\/p>\n

When the child Arthur\u2019s father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur\u2019s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birth right and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy\u2026whether he likes it or not.<\/p>\n

Starring with Hunnam (FX\u2019s \u201cSons of Anarchy\u201d) and Oscar nominee Law (\u201cCold Mountain,\u201d \u201cThe Talented Mr. Ripley\u201d) are Astrid Berg\u00e8s-Frisbey (\u201cPirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides\u201d) as Mage; Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou (\u201cBlood Diamond,\u201d \u201cIn America\u201d) as Bedivere; Aidan Gillen (HBO\u2019s \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d) as Goosefat Bill; and Eric Bana (\u201cStar Trek\u201d) as Arthur\u2019s father, King Uther Pendragon.<\/p>\n

Guy Ritchie (\u201cThe Man from U.N.C.L.E.,\u201d the \u201cSherlock Holmes\u201d films) directed the film from a screenplay is by Joby Harold (\u201cAwake\u201d) and Guy Ritchie & Lionel Wigram, story by David Dobkin (\u201cThe Judge\u201d) and Joby Harold. The film is produced by Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman (\u201cA Beautiful Mind,\u201d \u201cI Am Legend\u201d), Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell (\u201cAwake,\u201d \u201cHoly Rollers\u201d), and \u201cThe Man from U.N.C.L.E.\u201d and \u201cSherlock Holmes\u201d producers Steve Clark-Hall, Guy Ritchie and Lionel Wigram. David Dobkin and Bruce Berman are executive producers.<\/p>\n
