Kahn has space for five more vocalists, Team Karen and Team Lira have four places left each, while Bobby has only two spaces remaining on his team. Unfortunately for the coaches, however, the talent this week is super surprising, unequivocally unique and, as always, of an exceptional vocal calibre, making the coaches’ jobs even harder.

Fans of the show can expect to see a diverse range of talented singers on Sunday, 12 March; from a Capetonian occupational therapist-turned-harpist who brings her unusual instrument to The Voice SA stage with her, to an inexperienced economics graduate who has never performed for such a big crowd before. There is a classically trained jazz musician, a Springbok rugby player’s wife, an unexpected duo and a sparkling gem of a vocalist all the way from Kimberly, amongst others! “This week’s episode is filled with truly brilliant voices as well as some very note-worthy characters,” says M-Net’s Head of Publicity Lani Lombard. “The teams are almost full and yet the coaches won’t be able to resist pushing their buzzers for the exciting singers that they hear this week. Expect more four-chair-turns yet again.”

While the coaches remain competitive in the show, behind the scenes their camaraderie remains steadfast.
