Joining Gadot in the international cast are Chris Pine (the \u201cStar Trek\u201d films), Robin Wright (\u201cThe Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,\u201d Netflix\u2019s \u201cHouse of Cards\u201d), Danny Huston (\u201cClash of the Titans,\u201d \u201cX-Men Origins: Wolverine<\/a>\u201d), David Thewlis (the \u201cHarry Potter\u201d films, \u201cThe Theory of Everything<\/a>\u201d), Connie Nielsen (Fox\u2019s \u201cThe Following,\u201d \u201cGladiator\u201d), Elena Anaya (\u201cThe Skin I Live In\u201d), Ewen Bremner (\u201cExodus: Gods and Kings,\u201d \u201cSnowpiercer\u201d), Lucy Davis (\u201cShaun of the Dead,\u201d FX\u2019s \u201cBetter Things\u201d), Lisa Loven Kongsli (upcoming \u201cAshes in the Snow\u201d), Eugene Brave Rock (AMC\u2019s \u201cHell on Wheels\u201d) and Sa\u00efd Taghmaoui (\u201cAmerican Hustle\u201d).<\/p>\n

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers\u2026and her true destiny.<\/p>\n

Patty Jenkins directs the film from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg and Jason Fuchs, based on characters from DC. Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston.<\/p>\n

The film is produced by Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder and Richard Suckle, with Stephen Jones, Geoff Johns, Wesley Coller, Jon Berg and Rebecca Steel Roven serving as executive producers.<\/p>\n

Joining Jenkins behind the camera are director of photography Matthew Jensen (\u201cChronicle,\u201d \u201cFantastic Four,\u201d HBO\u2019s \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d), Oscar-nominated production designer Aline Bonetto (\u201cAm\u00e9lie,\u201d \u201cA Very Long Engagement,\u201d \u201cPan\u201d), Oscar-winning editor Martin Walsh (\u201cChicago,\u201d \u201cJack Ryan: Shadow Recruit<\/a>,\u201d \u201cV for Vendetta\u201d), and Oscar-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming (\u201cThe Dark Knight\u201d trilogy, \u201cTopsy-Turvy\u201d). The music is by composer Rupert Gregson-Williams (\u201cHacksaw Ridge<\/a>,\u201d \u201cThe Legend of Tarzan<\/a>\u201d).<\/p>\n
