Now it\u2019s up to the fans to vote for their favourites to stay in the show using these unique voting numbers:<\/p>\n<p>In: <strong>#TeamKahn<\/strong>:<br \/>\nFreddy Lalendle (23) from Durban 03<br \/>\nZee Gqamana (23) from Grahamstown 04<br \/>\nCraig Lucas (23) from Cape Town 01<\/p>\n<p>And in<strong> #TeamKaren<\/strong>:<br \/>\nLindo Sithole (23) from Pietermaritzburg 06<br \/>\nPJ Pretorius (26) from Secunda 07<br \/>\nAmanda Faku (23) from Port Elizabeth 05<\/p>\n<p>Sunday saw the first of the Live Showstopper shows, broadcast live from the state-of-the-art Mosa\u00efek Teatro in Fairland, Johannesburg, in which the remaining singers competed for the viewers\u2019 votes to become \u201cThe Voice\u201d, and what a showstopper it was!<\/p>\n<p>#TeamKahn was up first with Capetonian Economics graduate-turned singer Craig Lucas (23), showing off his giant pop vocals with the Killers anthem, \u201cHuman\u201d. A happy Coach Kahn rose to his feet in applause during Craig\u2019s performance, which he said was \u201cAwesome!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alternative, raspy-voiced Freddy Lalendle (23) from Durban strayed from his usual rocker roots to perform the emotional Labrinth ballad, \u201cJealous\u201d. Coach Lira said Freddy is an enigma, but Bobby warned him about a tendency to mumble his lyrics.<\/p>\n<p>Soulful Information Systems graduate Zee Gqamana (23) from Grahamstown chose Allesia Cara\u2019s poignant \u201cScars to Your Beautiful\u201d to impress the viewers. \u201cYou are a superstar!\u201d coach Karen Zoid raved. \u201cI\u2019m so proud of you \u2013 you brought it, girlfriend!\u201d Lira agreed. \u201cConfidence is a beautiful thing,\u201d she joked. \u201cYou are the complete package,\u201d Kahn told his singer happily.<\/p>\n<p>And the final singer to represent #TeamKahn was larger-than-life comedian Fatman (40) from Bela Bela, who wowed the coaches and the Mosa\u00efek audience with his soulful rendition of the Kurt Darren mega-hit, \u201cKaptein\u201d. Coach Karen said there\u2019s something about Fatman\u2019s voice that makes you feel safe, and Kahn said this performance reminded him of that famous \u201cOh Captain, My Captain\u201d scene in the movie \u201cDead Poets Society\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>#TeamKaren\u2019s turn on the stage was lead by the stylish Lindo Sithole (23) from Pietermaritzburg, performing Bruno Mars\u2019 \u201c24K Magic\u201d. \u201cI love your swag!\u201d Lira told Lindo, and his Coach Karen agreed. \u201cYou are unbelievable!\u201d she raved. \u201cAnd you are the most stylish person on this year\u2019s \u2018Voice\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Worship leader PJ Pretorius (26) from Secunda mixed things up with a dose of Shania Twain\u2019s \u201cYou\u2019re Still The One\u201d. \u201cYou\u2019ve got something magical about you,\u201d coach Bobby told PJ, and Karen thought it was \u201ca fantastic performance\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Amanda Faku (23) from Port Elizabeth had the crowd on their feet with Kings of Leon\u2019s rocking singalong hit, \u201cUse Somebody\u201d. \u201cYou are incredible,\u201d a proud coach Karen told her.<\/p>\n<p>And last but not least, Samantha Leonard (24) from Kimberly showcased her impressive vocal range with the Enrique Iglesias hit, \u201cHero\u201d. \u201cYou took my breath away,\u201d said a tearful Coach Lira. \u201cIt reminded me of performances that I have seen at the Grammys.\u201d And Bobby said he can\u2019t wait to see Sam perform Afrikaans music.<\/p>\n<p>With Fatman and Samantha safe from the vote, it is now up to the fans to decide which singers from both teams to save with their votes. Only two members of each team can remain \u2013 two singers must be sent home in next week\u2019s Showstopper episode.<\/p>\n<p>Voting for #TeamKahn and #TeamKaren\u2019s singers opened directly after the show at 19:00 tonight and will close on Tuesday, 23 May at 22:00. Fans can vote for their favourite singers via WeChat (free) and SMS (standard rates apply).
