Now, the Top 8 talent have to perform for their lives each week going forward to convince the South African public to vote for them. Fans of the show are now also able to vote for any of their favourites, regardless of which coach\u2019s team they\u2019re in.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately the voting results tonight meant that Marissa Petzer (22) from Stilfontein and Bubbles Mnomiya (23) from Durban had reached the end of their musical journey with Coach Lira, and Bobby van Jaarsveld had to say farewell to and Marco Basson (23) from Vanderbijlpark and the talented teenager from Carletonville, John James Janse van Rensburg (19).<\/p>\n<p>The Voice SA Season 2 Top 8 are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>#TeamKahn<\/strong><br \/>\nFatman (40) from Bela Bela (Coach\u2019s Save)<br \/>\nCraig Lucas (23) from Cape Town (Viewers\u2019 Vote)<\/p>\n<p><strong>#TeamKaren<\/strong><br \/>\nSamantha Leonard (24) from Kimberly (Coach\u2019s Save)<br \/>\nPJ Pretorius (26) from Secunda (Viewers\u2019 Vote)<\/p>\n<p><strong>#TeamLira<\/strong><br \/>\nTender Mavundla (35) from Port Shepstone (Coach\u2019s Save)<br \/>\nLuke Lovemore (23) from Cape Town (Viewers\u2019 Vote)<\/p>\n<p><strong>#TeamBobby<\/strong><br \/>\nJosh Ansley (31) from Johannesburg (Coach\u2019s Save)<br \/>\nCaroline Brussow (32) from Bloemfontein (Viewers\u2019 Vote)<\/p>\n<p>From now on the fate of the Top 8 lies entirely in the hands of the voting fans \u2013 the Coaches have no more saves left! The third live show of the season tonight [Sunday, 4 June] featured some spectacular performances from all of the talent as they each sang to stay in the competition, kicking it off with #TeamKaren\u2019s Samantha Leonard with an apt song choice, Sara Bareilles\u2019s \u201cBrave\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Bobby said that\u2019s exactly what Samantha is: brave. \u201cYou look like Superwoman!\u201d he praised her. Karen commented on how dedicated Sam has been all throughout the process \u2013 \u201cYou are the Queen of Diamonds!\u201d she said.<br \/>\nSamantha\u2019s voting number is 08.<\/p>\n<p>PJ Pretorius represented #TeamKaren with the Temper Trap hit \u201cSweet Disposition\u201d and had his Coach up on her feet and dancing.<br \/>\n\u201cTonight you graduated cum laude to rock star performer,\u201d Kahn Morbee told him, and Bobby confessed that he was surprised by PJ\u2019s stage confidence. \u201cI think he\u2019s proved himself \u2013 he can get a party going!\u201d Coach Karen said proudly.<br \/>\nPJ\u2019s voting number is 07.<\/p>\n<p>Next up was #TeamLira and taking the stage first was Tender Mavundla performing the old Whitney Houston classic \u201cI&#8217;m Every Woman\u201d.<br \/>\n\u201cYou\u2019re a born entertainer,\u201d Karen complimented her. \u201cI\u2019m just so filled with pride,\u201d said Lira. \u201cI believe in you 100%\u201d.<br \/>\nTender\u2019s voting number is 12.<\/p>\n<p>#TeamLira\u2019s Viewers\u2019 Save Luke Lovemore performed American Idol winner Phillip Phillips\u2019s ballad \u201cHome\u201d.<br \/>\nBobby was happy that the audience got to see this performance \u2013 \u201cmy favourite performance of yours so far,\u201d he said. \u201cI love this guy\u2019s voice, I\u2019d buy his albums,\u201d said Karen, and a proud Coach Lira predicted that Luke would just keep getting better and better every week.<br \/>\nLuke\u2019s voting number is 10.<\/p>\n<p>First up representing #TeamKahn was Craig Lucas, putting a classic swing spin on Panic! At the Disco\u2019s \u201cDeath of a Bachelor\u201d.<br \/>\n\u201cThat was phenomenal for me,\u201d Lira praised. \u201cYou\u2019re absolutely exciting to me.\u201d Bobby noted that there was a reason the public voted to keep Craig on the show. \u201cI\u2019m proud of you, man,\u201d he said. \u201cYou\u2019ve got that something magic,\u201d said proud Coach Kahn.<br \/>\nCraig\u2019s voting number is 01.<\/p>\n<p>And Coach Kahn\u2019s Coach\u2019s Save Fatman channeled his inner Meat Loaf with \u201cI Would Do Anything For Love\u201d.<br \/>\n\u201cFatman, you are a reminder that dreams come true!\u201d Lira exclaimed. \u201cYou are one of the best entertainers I\u2019ve ever seen in my life,\u201d Karen raved, and Kahn said Fatman was like the superhero of the show, \u201cCaptain Fatman\u201d, \u201cbecause you tell everyone that you should never stop dreaming,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nFatman\u2019s voting number is 02.<\/p>\n<p>For #TeamBobby first performance tonight, Josh Ansley brought the house down with the Kings of Leon hit \u201cSex on Fire\u201d.<br \/>\n\u201cYour voice is on fire!\u201d Lira shouted. She said if there was ever an international The Voice competition, Josh would be her choice to represent South Africa, and proud Coach Bobby said he would probably win. \u201cYou\u2019re an expert in your field, you\u2019re an expert vocalist performer,\u201d said Kahn.<br \/>\nJosh\u2019s voting number is 15.<\/p>\n<p>And #TeamBobby\u2019s glamorous lawyer Caroline Brussow closed the show with Katy Perry\u2019s \u201c\u201cUnconditionally\u201d.<br \/>\n\u201cYaaaaaaaaay!\u201d Karen shouted happily. \u201cYou\u2019ve gone from second-guessing yourself to Star Diva Deluxe,\u201d she told Caroline. \u201cYou\u2019re strong, you\u2019re gorgeous, you\u2019re actually gorgeous and talent,\u201d said Lira.<br \/>\nCaroline\u2019s voting number is 13.<\/p>\n<p>Now it\u2019s up to the fans to vote to keep their favourite singers on the show!
