Cape weather storms and the Knysna blaze<\/h2>\n

Up to 10\u00a0000 people were forced to evacuate their homes as fires fuelled by strong winds ripped through the sleepy town of Knysna. Scores of homes have been gutted and several buildings destroyed in what\u2019s been called one of the worst disasters to hit the town in decades. Further across the province, dramatic weather patterns have brought raging storms to the Mother City, wreaking havoc and leaving thousands homeless.<\/p>\n
