What will go down when one couple’s colour scheme is purple and lime green – including the wedding party’s wardrobe – and the theme of the special day is comic book heroes? Will the bashers embrace the alternative, or will this zany approach fall short of their standards? “I’m a little bit worried, I won’t lie,” confessed a dubious Cindy Nell. Then, the intrepid experts – who rate each wedding according to décor, fashion, food and entertainment – take a sharp turn as they embark on a safari wedding in Welkom, where flash mob dancing is the order of the day.

Remember, viewers can also rate their favourite weddings throughout the season and stand the chance to win awesome prizes by visiting www.mnet.tv/weddingbashers

Then at 18:00, the final Instant Restaurant of Season 1 of My Kitchen Rules SA will play out in Durban, as foodie friends Nicole and Zamatonga host their fellow contestants and guest judges David Higgs and J’Something. Last week, the “meat guys” OG and G received the lowest score on the leader board so far with a combined total of 59 out of 100. This means that Nicole and Zamatonga – who have both been outspoken about their competitors’ dishes in the past – will have to pull out all of the stops to prove their mettle and earn a score of at least 60 points at the end of the night.

“Tonight I’m expecting perfection,” Bloemfontein’s Jamandi said ahead of arriving in Durban. Johannesburg’s Charnell agreed: “I’m expecting something fancy from these girls tonight,” she revealed. Will the passionate Durbanites walk the walk after talking a big talk over the past four weeks, or will they crumble under the pressure of being the last to cook in the Instant Restaurant phase?

Viewers can also visit www.mnet.tv/mkr to watch exclusive interviews with the judges and contestants, and follow all the breaking news and conversations around the show on Twitter @MNet / #MKRSA or on the official M-Net Facebook page.

Attend some alternative weddings and find out who is going to Kitchen Headquarters.
