Doyenne of the South African stage, she brings a fire to every part that cannot be denied.<\/p>\n Director Nico Scheepers, who also wrote the play and composed the music, is one of the most exciting young theatremakers in South Africa. His acclaimed productions include Wentel with Anna-Mart van der Merwe, Rooivalk (kykNET Fi\u00ebsta award winner for Best New Afrikaans production and Best Play) and Amper Vrystaat.
