The lovebirds walked away with a spectacular wedding gift from the show: prizes to the value of over R800\u00a0000!<\/p>\n<p>Taryn and Franco enjoyed a Lebanese \/ Portuguese mash-up wedding which was featured in the very first episode of the series, at the trendy Jo\u2019burg inner city rooftop venue of The Living Room in Maboneng. Their nuptial celebration was an urban city chic event, with a generous budget of R150\u00a0000 and 110 guests. The pair relied on some serious Lebanese family ties to help bring their special day together, and in the end their wedding ticked all of the boxes when it came to food, fashion, d\u00e9cor and entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>Wedding planner extraordinaire Zavion noted that this wedding is his \u201cfavourite d\u00e9cor by far\u201d, while party girl Denise was more than impressed with the DJ and entertainment. Celebrity chef and food expert Siba also observed that their catering \u2013 consisting of many different types of tapas &#8211; was clever and creative, stating that she \u201cthoroughly enjoyed\u201d the culinary offerings!<\/p>\n<p>The winning couple took home an amazing prize package which includes: R250\u00a0000 cash from M-Net, designer appliances from Gorenje worth R200\u00a0000, a seven night second honeymoon courtesy of The Moorings and Air Seychelles, R100\u00a0000 worth of jewellery from Jack Friedman and R100\u00a0000 of make-up and cosmetics from Essence, Caribbean Tan, Lov and Catrice cosmetics.<\/p>\n<p>On top of the celebrity squad\u2019s feedback, viewers were also able to have their say throughout the season by rating all 22 of the uniquely South African weddings on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mnet.tv\/weddingbashers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.mnet.tv\/weddingbashers<\/a>. The Viewer\u2019s Choice wedding of the season, as voted for by the public, was Kyl\u00e9 and Mark Steyn\u2019s intimate celebration, as they eloped with a humble budget of R30\u00a0000 and only 24 guests in the scenic coastal town of Paternoster.
