Blige, Andra Day, Natalia LaFourcade, Miguel, Keala Settle, Sufjan Stevens and Oscar\u00ae winner Common will perform this year’s nominated songs\u00a0at the 90th Oscars\u00ae ceremony, show producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd announced today. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the Oscars will air live on Sunday, March 4, on the ABC Television Network.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re excited to have these talented artists showcase the powerful contribution music makes to filmmaking,\u201d said De Luca and Todd. \u201cIt\u2019s a privilege to welcome them to the 90th Oscars stage.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bernal<\/strong>, LaFourcade<\/strong> and Miguel<\/strong> will perform the Oscar-nominated song\u00a0\u201cRemember Me\u201d from \u201cCoco\u201d; Music and Lyric by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.<\/p>\n In addition to lending his voice to \u201cCoco,\u201d Bernal\u2019s credits include the Oscar-winning films \u201cBabel\u201d (2006) and \u201cThe Motorcycle Diaries\u201d (2004), as well as the Oscar-nominated films \u201cNo\u201d (2012), \u201cEl Crimen del Padre Amaro\u201d (2002), \u201cY Tu Mam\u00e1 Tambi\u00e9n (2002) and \u201cAmores Perros\u201d (2000). LaFourcade is a Mexican pop-rock singer. She\u2019s been nominated for four Grammy Awards\u00ae, and won in 2016 for \u201cBest Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album.\u201d Miguel won a Grammy Award in 2013 for his song \u201cAdorn,\u201d and has been nominated an additional 10\u00a0times. He and LaFourcade teamed\u00a0to record the end-credit version of \u201cRemember Me,\u201d with Miguel and Steve Mostyn producing.<\/p>\n Blige<\/strong> will perform \u201cMighty River,\u201d from \u201cMudbound,\u201d the Oscar-nominated song she co-wrote with Raphael Saadiq and Taura Stinson. Blige is also Oscar-nominated this year for Actress in a Supporting Role for \u201cMudbound.\u201d She is the first person to be nominated for both a performance and Original Song in the same year. Additionally, she has won nine Grammy Awards, having been nominated 31 times.<\/p>\n Common<\/strong> and Andra Day<\/strong> will perform his Oscar-nominated song\u00a0\u201cStand Up For Something\u201d from \u201cMarshall\u201d; Music by Diane Warren; Lyric by Lonnie R. Lynn (Common) and Diane Warren. Common won an Oscar with John Stephens (John Legend), for Original Song for \u201cGlory\u201d from the film \u201cSelma\u201d (2014). He has received 20\u00a0Grammy Award nominations and has won three times. His recent acting credits include \u201cJohn Wick: Chapter 2\u201d (2017) and \u201cSelma.\u201d Day is a three-time Grammy Award nominee. Her acting credits include \u201cMarshall\u201d and \u201cCars 3\u201d (2017).<\/p>\n Settle<\/strong> will perform the Oscar-nominated song\u00a0\u201cThis is Me\u201d from \u201cThe Greatest Showman\u201d; Music and Lyric by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Settle is a Tony Award\u00ae-nominated singer and actress. Her film credits include \u201cThe Greatest Showman\u201d (2017) and \u201cRicki and the Flash\u201d (2015).<\/p>\n Stevens<\/strong> will perform his Oscar-nominated song\u00a0\u201cMystery of Love,\u201d written for \u201cCall Me by Your Name.\u201d Stevens is a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist.
