From Triggerfish Animation Studios, Cape Town, the talent that brought you Zambezia, comes an adventurous romp through the Great Karoo of South Africa with Khumba, the zebra.<\/p>\n

Khumba, a half-stripped zebra, is rejected by a superstitious herd who think his lack of strips is the reason for a long-running drought. Khumba ventures outside the safe confines of the zebra’s fenced in watering hole in a bid to earn his stripes, and so the adventure begins. Pursued by a ferocious leopard, Phango, Khumba meets a whole host of weird, wonderful and mysterious animals, beasts and critters along the way.<\/p>\n

Khumba draws you in to the adventure, and doesn’t let go until the last moment as Khumba and Phango face off, enthralling you with tense moments and moments of laughter.<\/p>\n

The animation talent at Triggerfish has grown in leaps and bounds, the story of Khumba is engrossing, and the voice talent bears a list of some of Hollywoods top talent (Steve Buscemi, Loretta Devince, Laurence Fishburne and Richard E. Grant, to name a few), as well as several local South African voices.<\/p>\n
