Is the long-awaited Survivor SA: Philippines Tribal\u00a0Merge on the cards for the remaining castaways this week?<\/strong><\/p>\n

After Josie\u2019s charmed torch was finally snuffed at her 6th Tribal Council last week, the once\u00a0mighty Mindanao was left with two members only\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Tony and PK. In the words of a frustrated Tony, they were now\u00a0\u201ca couple\u201d and not a tribe, comparing them to Visayas and Luzon with their four members each.<\/p>\n

Will Toni\u2019s frustration spark enough energy to fight back \u2013 and if so, will PK play along? If the long-awaited Merge isn\u2019t on the horizon soon, what will their chances be to survive? Will they be picked off one at a time, or can they devise a new plan that will derail the existing strategies in the other tribes or extinguish the \u201cblue blood\u201d bond of the original Mindanao\u00a0members who left to join Luzon and\u00a0Visayas during the tribal shuffles?<\/p>\n

At Visayas, new rifts seem to form as soon as old ones have been healed \u2013 or at least papered over. Tom appears to be living on borrowed time with Chan\u00e9 cozying up to Vusi and Palesa after he again alienated her last week with the way he lip-smacked and finger-licked his way through the Chocolate Reward.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Chan\u00e9 and Annalize\u2019s chat as they sat out last week\u2019s Tribal Immunity Challenge, the Luzon\u2019s\u00a0Annalize now knows that Tom doesn\u2019t have an Immunity Idol anymore \u2013 but that Palesa does. Will that change her plan of continually buttering up Werner, who is sitting pretty with two Immunity Idols of his own? While Jeanne is talking to the other ladies in the tribe about protecting Werner through Merge, she should probably be paying a bit more attention to her own situation.<\/p>\n
