(Photo by Jeff Spicer\/BFC\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The first programme kicking off ITV CHOICE\u2019s annual Royal Season this year is Harry &amp; Meghan: A Royal Baby Story, which will air on Wednesday, May 22 at 20:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this one-hour special, royal experts investigate the Duke and Duchess\u2019 relationship, as well as look at how Meghan has been handling her first pregnancy in the public eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Focusing heavily on Meghan\u2019s maternity looks, the royal correspondents \u2013 including author Katie Nichol, celebrity journalist Ashley Pearson, Emily Andrews and more \u2013 also dissect her more controversial, glamorous and sleeker ensembles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the world has become obsessed with the royal couple, it\u2019s also apparent that tabloids and media have been taking note of everything that the mother-to-be wears, how she acts and how she compares to Kate Middleton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Duchess\u2019 estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, also makes an appearance and discusses Meghan\u2019s new royal lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI believe that there is a jealous streak in Meg,\u201d Samantha says of the constant comparisons between Meghan and Kate and what they wear. \u201cShe does like to be the centre of attention. I feel like that\u2019s a part of what is happening now.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to her estranged sister having a nanny at their new Frogmore Cottage, Samantha says, \u201cI think she will definitely get a nanny. Meghan is very strong-minded, and there will definitely be a butting of heads, but Meghan could learn and grow from that. So if the nanny is strong enough, then she won\u2019t be left in tears.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The special also touches on how Meghan and Harry\u2019s child will most likely stray from the traditional royal children attire that people have seen Prince George and Princess Charlotte dressed up in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samantha concludes her portion by explaining that she thinks it\u2019s important that children have a bigger sense of their family and where they come from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI would like to think that this child would have access to the best parts of grandad\u2026and get to know that side of the Markles,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ITV CHOICE\u2019s Royal Season continues the following week \u2013 on Wednesday, May 29 at 20:00 \u2013 with the 60-minute documentary Secrets of the Royal Babies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first programme kicking off ITV CHOICE\u2019s annual Royal Season this year is Harry &amp; Meghan: A Royal Baby Story, which will air on Wednesday, May 22 at 20:00.
