In this hilarious comedy, a swinging bachelor in Acapulco finds his life turned upside-down when a past American-hippie fling drops off their love child on his doorstep. The only way to maintain his swanky lifestyle of rotating women and zero responsibility is for him to take baby Maggie to Los Angeles in search of Julie. But Julie has already moved on, and suddenly Valentin is a single father and singularly clueless about how to proceed. Valentin winds up staying in LA for six years, working as a Hollywood stuntman. They are happy, until their unique and offbeat family is threatened when Julie steps back into the picture.
