The End of the World explores the ancient knowledge of cyclical time preserved in traditions such as the Yuga system of India. According to these teachings, humanity periodically passes through great cycles of darkness and awakening. Drawing on mythology, astronomy, and spiritual philosophy, the film asks whether we may now be approaching the end of one of these great ages and the beginning of another.
