Tshepo, an old friend of Lebo and Solomon’s from Maff-town is visiting and Thami is surprised by the strength of her feelings for Lebo when the prospect of him moving back to Maff-town appears. Gogo feels that there is not enough bitter stuff to drink in the house and misses the taste of homemade beer. She ropes Solomon into making “Skelem Gemmer” but when Pearl mistakes it for ginger beer it’s a recipe for disaster.
