Thando started smoking Nyaope to numb the loss of his mother to cancer in 2005. He then dropped out of school in Grade 10. Thando has just finished rehab but is struggling to stay away from his old friends and drugs. With an absent father, he lives with his aunts, who made him go to rehab. His challenge is to get a job to support his son, but the problem is he doesn’t have Matric. Will Thando reach his goal of becoming a paramedic, or will the drugs get the better of him?
