MYSTERIES OF THE ANCIENT DEAD

What happens aft er death? This question has plagued us since the dawn of humankind. It’s inspired strange ceremonies, incited bizarre practices, and launched complex religious beliefs. Now, we investigate burials, funerary remains, and relics from age old death rituals, to shed new light on the secrets of ancient civilizations. What can we learn from our long-ago forebears using the clues they left behind for us in their relationship with demise and the great beyond?

QUEENS OF ANCIENT EGYPT

This series tells the stories of three little-known, but incredible Egyptian queens. The queens Tiye, Cleopatra II and Cleopatra Selene may not be as well-known as Cleopatra or Nefertiti but played a
significant role in Ancient Egypt’s history. The docuseries reveals how they became standard-bearers for their gender long before the modern era.

GHOST SHIPS

In the ‘Graveyard of the Atlantic’, the seafloor is littered with of long-forgotten shipwrecks. Ghost Ships follows pro salvage diver Tony Sampson (Curse of Oak Island) and his team as they brave the shifting currents and bone-chilling legends of Nova Scotiain search of answers. Joining forces with everyone from archaeologists to treasure hunters, every episode features a compelling human story, along with 3D recreations of the wreck site and thrilling never-before-seen dives.

VIKING QUEST: AMERICA

Each self-contained episode features the story of a team of Nordic adventurers on a journey in the mysterious wake of their ancestors to Canada and down the east coast of America. From this through line, we explore new discoveries and new ways of looking at the Viking era. Over 5 years, they research, design, and build the largest sea-going Viking ship in 1,000 years to sail the oceans of the world. This series follows the project from conception to their first landing in Canada and adds historical science to every stage of the epic journey.

SHIPWRECKS: WHEN HISTORY RESURFACES S2

From the Indian Ocean’s clear blue atolls to the icy waters of the St. Lawrence River, we embark on an epic expedition with the Cinemarine team to capture the remains of six of the world’s most spectacular underwater disasters. With the most advanced technology and state-of-the-art equipment, amid danger and uncertainty at times, we take a deep dive to explore – up close and in 4k – these mysterious wrecks. The series comes up for air, only to hear the testimonies of crew members and passengers who survived to tell the tale.
