Are you ready for a high-action, revenge-filled, thrilling sci-fi film? American actor, writer, and director Ethan Hawke is back and providing all of this and more in 24 Hours to Live coming to local cinemas 23 February 2018.
Cast and crew
Hawke stars in the film alongside Paul Anderson and Rutger Hauer. Directed by Brian Smrz, who is known for his work on, Live Free or Die Hard (2007) and X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014).
Synopsis
Filmed on home soil in the beautiful mother city of Cape Town the high-voltage stunts and ambitious screenplay allows the audience to enjoy a sense of foreboding escalation as we follow Travis Conrad’s (Hawke) journey of redemption.
Hawke plays a hard-core CIA agent who sacrifices everything for his employers, including his family and, ultimately, his own life. No sooner has he shuffled off this mortal coil and finds himself mysteriously resurrected for one last mission that’s timed to last exactly 24 hours. Once the countdown clock embedded in his forearm reaches zero, he’ll once again nod off into an eternal slumber if he hasn’t completed his task. Before that happens, expect him to wreak havoc on both his targets and his former CIA minders.
