“The Founder” In Cinemas This May

A Story of a Risk Taker, Rule Breaker and Game Changer

Opening in cinemas on 19 May 2017, the film tells the true story of the rise of one of the most recognisable brands in the world – McDonald’s. This truly is a fascinating story that will leave you surprised and intrigued.

‘The Founder’ was directed by John Lee Hancock and stars Michael Keaton, Laura Dern, Patrick Wilson, Nick Offerman, John Carrol Lynch and Linda Cardellini who, through their performance in each scene, help us inevitably submerge ourselves in the drama that unfolds when you mix family and a cut-throat businessman who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

The film documents a fascinating slice of history which is now one of the biggest fast food service chains globally. For many – the very idea of having your food prepared in front of you in mere seconds was a novelty that began sweeping the nation of America before taking over the world as we now know it today.

Keaton uses his charm and charisma in ‘The Founder’ to get his way, which adds to the immensely thought-provoking scenes throughout. Watch him take someone else’s idea and have America eat it all up.
