Acting For Film – Level 3 With Grant Swanby

The level 3 course hones the technical skills required to act in front of a camera for film and television. The course culminates in the performance of a scene for filming.

Course will cover:
The tools needed to further develop a performance on screen and the understanding of the technical aspects of film production

  • Film production, terms and conditions
  • Exploring shot size and angle
  • Economy of performance
  • Recap three ‘R’s and beats and actions
  • Status
  • Continuity
  • Understanding self
  • Need versus want
  • Alba emoting
  • Knowing what to expect on the set

Course Schedule:
3 hours per class, twice per week, for six weeks

Entry Requirements:
Acting for Film – Level 2 / Equivalent in Industry Experience

R5450.00 (includes all training material, DVD of final filmed performance and certificate of completion)
