Nu Metro’s VIP cinema complex at Hyde Park Corner in Johannesburg has been confirmed as the exclusive venue for the South African Premiere Event of the epic new fantasy adventure from director Luc Besson – VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS.
This event will take place on Thursday, 20 July – a day before the film’s release at cinemas worldwide, including South Africa. The film is a spectacular movie event set in a universe beyond imagination.
For this exclusive premiere event, the Nu Metro Hyde Park complex will be transformed into the City of a Thousand Planets. Moviegoers will be transported to the universe of the future, and meet some of the exotic intergalactic species from the film – all set within the VIP luxury of the cineplex. Nu Metro VIP includes full recliner seating in all cinemas, lounge areas and a fully-licensed bar.
Tickets to this showcase event – exclusive to Nu Metro – include themed food, drinks and other entertainment surprises. Décor and special event elements have been months in planning to give those attending the premiere a truly out-of-this-world movie experience in an immaculate cinema setting.
