Hasta la Pasta, baby!
Last week on My Kitchen Rules SA, the Top 6 remaining teams of home cook pairs bid a sad farewell to food dudes Rein and Rowan from Krugersdorp. That means that in this Sunday’s jam-packed episode, there will be yet another challenge before a surprising Sudden Death cook-off, after which one more team will be sent packing!
The challenge for this week is a tag-team effort and freshly made pasta is the name of the game. With the clock ticking, the teams will be under immense pressure to work like they never have before, with only one team member being allowed to cook in a 20 minute interval, before tagging their team mate in to cook for the next 20 minutes. Moreover, judges David Higgs and J’Something are going to be more stringent than ever when critiquing the final dishes put before them. After all, the road to the finale and the grand prize of R1 Million is becoming shorter and shorter and there is little room for error of any kind.
Mother and daughter team from Cradock, Lani and Louzel, will have an advantage in this week’s pasta challenge since they won the People’s Choice challenge last week. But will this advantage give them a misguided sense of confidence, or will they play it strategically?
