Coming up on M-Net’s entertaining series The Wedding Bashers this week, celebrity wedding guests Cindy Nell, Denise Zimba, Siba Mtongana and Zavion Kotze attend free-spirited forest-dwellers, Billy and Renier’s special day. The pair opted for a relaxed fairy-tale wedding in the ever green pine forest of Kaapsehoop, just outside of Nelspruit. Their unique DIY celebration included giant sandwiches, fairy dust and unicorns, all of which came with a humble budget of R14 500! But was their DIY mystical themed wedding a hit or miss with the Bashers?
After their whimsical experience in Nelspruit, the celebrities then head to Johannesburg, for their very first Muslim wedding experience. Their first stop is the very impressive and beautiful Nizamiye Mosque in Midrand, before moving to Fordsburg for the reception of lawyer Lutfiyya and her groom, Yusuf. The beautiful bride had her dreams fulfilled with an East-meets-West winter wonderland extravaganza. But did her vision meet the Bashers’ standards, especially under the meticulous eye of Zavion?
As usual, each Basher will rate both weddings according to their various areas of expertise, namely the décor, food, fashion and entertainment at the end of the show.
