DStv Invites You To A Royal Get-Together – Join The Global Spectacle With A Front Row Seat To The Wedding Of The Year

Save the date! 19 May 2018 is the wedding day of Harry, Prince of Wales and actress Meghan Markle – and you have a front-row seat on DStv.

Markle, popularly known for her role in M-Net’s law drama series Suits, will be transformed into the Duchess of Sussex when she marries Prince Harry at St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle, where Prince Harry was christened.

Get into the spirit of the upcoming nuptials with a build of great shows on BBC Lifestyle (DStv channel 174). Tune in to Harry and Meghan: A Modern Love Story on Wednesday, 16 May at 21:00 and to insights about Britain’s Royal Weddings on Thursday, 17 and Friday, 18 May at 21:00.

For the first time ever, TLC’s (DStv Channel 125) top wedding experts come together in a one-off special produced by ITN Productions, to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry to his American Princess, Meghan Markle. Join them on Sunday, 20 May at 15:00 for Harry & Meghan Said Yes.

There’s a celebration of British Royalty on ITV Choice (DStv channel 123) this month with a season of exclusive programming in honour of the forthcoming royal wedding.

Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance chronicles the romance between a beloved prince and his new TV star fiancée, Harry and Meghan will examine the history of Prince Harry (Murray Fraser) and Meghan Markle (Parisa Fitz-Henley) from the moment they met after being set up by friends, through their initial courtship, how they were able to keep their romance under wraps and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship. Watch it on Lifetime (DStv channel 131) on 26 May at 20:00.

And then it is wedding time! On Saturday, 19 May 2018, Sky News (DStv Channel 402) will broadcast live coverage of the Royal Wedding ceremony of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at 10:00 followed by the procession through Windsor. Prior to that, Sky News will also broadcast the full build up to the wedding from 8:00 onwards.

ITV Choice (DStv Channel 123) will broadcast live, comprehensive coverage of the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Saturday, 19 May from a specially constructed studio on The Long Walk in Windsor. The coverage of Harry and Meghan – The Royal Wedding, which will start at 10:25 and run through to 16:00, will be hosted by Julie Etchingham and Phillip Schofield who will be joined by a range of guests including those who know Prince Harry and Meghan, as well as friends of the Royal family.

BBC Lifestyle (DStv channel 174) will broadcast the ceremony in South Africa via a live stream of the build-up and the ceremony. BBC World News (DStv channel 400) will also be live streaming the ceremony.
