Survivor SA: Philippines | Tricky Twist Tests Trust

The Castaways face more upheaval on this week’s episode of Survivor South Africa: Philippines as yet another twist to the game offers those at the bottom of the pecking order, a golden opportunity to try and climb it.

All the original Luzon ‘outsiders’ have been voted out of the game, bar Tom – taken into the majority alliance at Merge – and Annalize – who’s been a blue since the tribe shuffle in week 4. Werner, Jeanne and Katinka are pulling the ‘Mindanao Strong’ strings, with them in tow, while Toni and PK – despite dedicating their game to their original ‘blue blood’ alliance – find themselves at the bottom of the food chain. The position she constantly finds herself in has irked Toni into making several seemingly prospect-limiting public outbursts and also forced PK to consider his options.

After Palesa joined Chané and Vusi on the Jury after last week’s episode – with an unplayed Immunity Idol in her pocket – there are 7 Castaways left in the game, who all need to be mindful of the Jury’s watchful eye as they bid for the R1 Million prize and ‘Sole Survivor’ title.

This week, the Castaways play for power, position and potato salad in a challenge which will exercise their hunger-afflicted memories and physical capabilities. The result will have far-reaching consequences on the game as the strength of alliances is tested by a turbulent twist.

Tune in to Survivor SA: Philippines this Thursday (19 July) at 19:00 on M-Net 101 for a challenge that will change the game.
