June Gachui is an advocate of the High Court, intellectual property specialist, songwriter, dancer and presenter. She studied law in both the United Kingdom and the United States of America. June is the host of The Great Kenyan Bake Off which is currently airing on BBC Lifestyle (DStv 174) Wednesdays at 8pm.
Lara Nathan is a top real estate agent for Pam Golding Properties servicing the Morningside, Sandown and Strathavon areas. Lara stars in BBC Lifestyle’s Listing Jozi, which follows a group of high-end property brokers, as they hustle to list and sell multi-million rand homes in and around Johannesburg. Presented by actor Nick Ndeda and singer June Gachui we follow passionate amateur bakers across the country as they test their baking skills and battle to be crowned The Great Kenyan Bake Off’s best amateur baker. Each week the bakers will be put through challenges with one eliminated and one named the star baker.
Chef Kiran Jethwa and Myra Kivuvani are the two culinary experts who will decide on who will be crowned as Kenya’s winning baker.
