Launches EP pre-save/add with new single “Messiah”
Mpumalanga’s DJ, music producer and radio host, Emotionz DJ has officially joined the Sony Music Entertainment Africa family. When asked how he feels about the signing he said, “Finally I have now joined the big Sony music family. This is the beginning of so many great things to come. I am looking forward to working with the whole big family and we’re going to make some magic.”
A&R Director, Spiro Damaskinos, commented, “We are really excited to have Emotionz on board. In his case it was very simple because when Clement played us his music we were all really excited. Welcome to the Sony Music Family we definitely look forward to working with you.”
Emotionz DJ’s understanding of music came at an early age. Born in Mpumalanga, South Africa, his passion for music was ignited by artists he loved listening to –Louie Vega, Dj Kent, Franky Knuckles and Hugh Masekela. His relationship with music began when he started playing at friends’ birthday parties in his early teens to gaining residency at News Café in Midrand.
