Following the accompanying SOLD OUT national tour, TEEKS shared an incredible live version of First Time, performed at The Civic, Auckland.
First Time has captured hearts around the globe, becoming a best-loved track for a rapidly burgeoning fan base in South Africa (#1 iTunes, #1 Spotify Viral Chart, over 88 million TikTok views).
The stellar debut album picked up four nominations at the Waiata Māori Music Awards including Best Māori Songwriter and Best Māori Solo Artist as well as an
MTV EMA nomination for Best New Zealand Act (TBA).
Oil & Water is produced by Josh Fountain (Benee, Leisure) and Simon Gooding (P!NK) and is co-written by TEEKS, Emily Warren (Khalid, The Chainsmokers, Dua Lipa), Josh Fountain and Dave Baxter. It is accompanied by a visualiser created by Spanish animator Sergio García.
