“After two difficult years, I feel that it is necessary to live life to the fullest. A lot of people compromise their happiness in order to survive and that is not how it is supposed to be,” the musician explains. “We were created to reach our potential and be happy, even if it doesn’t make us rich. Money can’t buy happiness.”
In true Christiaan fashion, this contemporary pop track will force fans to think about life while enjoying its catchy tune. “I believe that the song will appeal to listeners of all ages. Nobody is perfect and there is always something that gets in the way of your dreams. The first step is to admit that you are destined for greater things. Hopefully this song will motivate people to find their true purpose.”

During lockdown, he also released songs like ’n Vriend Soos Jy (a duet with Mack Rapapali), My Vrou and Die Beste Deel, which were all very well received and charted on several radio stations.
Christiaan has been involved in the music industry for around two decades and released his first album in 2008 at the age of nineteen.
The artist is excited about the future and is currently working on a gospel song with Mack Rapapali and violinist, Scheppel. In addition to a few upcoming singles, an EP and children’s album, he is also planning a charity tour in aid of the non-profit organisation, Step by Step, with Mack.
