The Low keys is a south African music Multi Gold selling production and performing artists Mapiano/house Duo, founded in 2017. The low keys Compose of three founding
members: lead singer and producer Mongezi Mashabela better known by his stage name “Big Zee” (21 august 1997); ( Ofentse Gama (12 November 1997) better known as “Q unlimited” producer DJ. The talented duo hail from Pretoria Mamelodi and had known each other since they were in high school as they are realising their love and talent for music production and performing arts, the three joined forces to form an alternative Amapiano/House group; called “The low keys”. Once in a while something magical happens in the entertainment industry, and the low keys is that magic as they have played a key role in mobilising the Amapiano movement in and around Pretoria. collecting one fan at a time with their electrifying live performances and base beats, producing some of the biggest Amapiano songs in the streets, moving the Pretoria founded music genre called “Amapiano” forward.

In 2019 the Low keys signed a multi-album deal with Sumsounds Music PTY (LTD) the group went on to release their debut singles titled “Lerato and Shaka ft DJ Sumbody which has already caught fire in the Pretoria and Johannesburg club scene, affording them the opportunity to work on music production with some of south Africa’s biggest artists such as DJ fresh with song titled – Mela (ma-Africa),
Major league Djz feat. Focalistic & The Lowkeys _shoota moghele, DJ Sumbody x the Lowkeys -ashi nthwela, Team Mosha ft the Lowkeys -cina, just to name a few.
In 2021 The Duo reached Gold status on three of their singles titled (Gugu, stolen Goods, Iyamemeza featuring Dj Sumbody and Drip Gogo) with the success of their singles ,The low keys are currently working on their highly anticipated debut album, titled Don’t Press Play. Due to drop end of November 2022.
