Logan Pietersen Releases An Emotional Music Video Of His Latest Hit

Talented singer-songwriter, Logan Pietersen, has once again proven that he is able to create relatable music with his latest single – dedicated to everyone working and living abroad to build a future for themselves and their families.

BRING MY TERUG (H2-A) has not only been well-received by radio stations and the public but has also garnered so many streams on Spotify that the cover picture was used as the “face” of the platform’s country playlist for a while.

Now, this nostalgic track, with its upbeat rhythm and captivating melody, is back in the spotlight in the form of an emotional music video that is now available.

This video, featuring a combination of footage of farmers working abroad and scenes around a campfire at Gabbata Lodge in Pretoria, is created with the intention of making those who live far away and yearn for home feel connected despite the distance.

“I wanted to include the H2-A farmers who approached me to write and record the song, and who also raised funds to make it happen, in the video and show them how much I appreciate their support,” he explains about the concept behind the video. “I also had the idea of a scene around the campfire with good friends and family because it’s so true to who we are and what we hold dear.”

According to the musician, the message behind his first music video – much like the song itself – is one of togetherness, love, family, music, food, tradition, pride, and, of course, appreciating what we have. Produced by Vonk’s Tessa Jay Glanville and Storm Opperman, it was undoubtedly an experience the artist won’t soon forget.

Logan hails from Naboomspruit and currently resides in Pretoria. He is the eldest of three children, and music has always been his greatest passion. With over a decade of experience in the music industry, he has achieved numerous highlights, such as making it to the Top 96 of Season Three of The Voice SA and the Top 46 of Maak My Famous.

He says: “I’m taking a bit of a step back from competitions now. Over the past few years, I’ve participated enough, learned a lot, and met good people. I now know where I’m headed with my career and what I need to do.”

Currently, he is writing a song for the H2-A ladies who had to stay behind in South Africa and make many sacrifices. He is also diligently working to change the format of his performances and is determined to do as many live shows as possible in 2024, both locally and abroad.

“The idea is to try to play at more festivals, and there are potential shows lined up in Australia, Dubai, America, and Namibia, which I am very excited about. Then I also want to see if I can get sponsors to record more of my own music because, so far, it has only been financially possible for me to do one single at a time,” Pietersen shares about his goals for the next year.

BRING MY TERUG (H2-A) is now available on all digital platforms and is the first of many meaningful tracks that this versatile artist has planned for the future.
