The Stanley Cup, the oldest professional sports trophy in North America is awarded annually to the league playoff champion at the end of each season. ESPN airs live NHL games throughout the week and over weekends.

Top Rank boxing events continue in December with bi-weekly events featuring the top boxing talent from around the world. Top Rank and ESPN began a relationship in 2017 with events airing across ESPN linear and digital properties. ESPN extended the agreement through 2025 and now features exclusively on ESPN Africa.
