Premiers Sundays at 18:00 from 4 February (ends 25February)

Premiering Path of the Panther, who drawn in by the haunting spectre of the Florida panther, photographer Carlton Ward finds himself on the front lines of an accelerating battle between forces of renewal and destruction that have pushed the Everglades to the brink of ecological collapse and the special.

The second premiere will be Amur Tiger: Secret Kingdom. Using a combination of remote cameras, long lens and drone filming, and told across the seasons, the Secret Kingdom of the Amur Tiger takes you deep inside this remote kingdom to unveil long held secrets about these shy and elusive hunters; how they navigate and co-exist along secret corridors, use secret messaging to communicate to one another, hunt their prey and exploit the seasons, with the ultimate ambition of finding a partner and bringing new life in to this world.

The stunt also includes legacy contents like: The Real Black Panther, Jaguar Beach Battle, Relentless Enemies, Eternal Enemies: Lions And Hyenas, Tree Climbing Lions, The Way of The Cheetah, Cat Wars: Lion vs. Cheetah, Man Among Cheetahs, Russia’s Wild Tiger and Tiger’s Revenge.

THE INCREDIBLE DR. POL 23 (10 x 60)

Mondays at 22:00 from 5 February (ends 14 April)

With more than 46 years of veterinarian experience, Dr. Pol is a pioneer in treating animals. The doctor on his routine 14-hour workdays treating both pets and livestock.

This season Dr. Pol celebrates turning 80 with a trip to the Netherlands with Diane, vets rally to keep dreams alive for hardworking kids, Dr. Pol helps a horse with choke as Dr. Lisa treats a cat with many maladies. Charles is worried about his dog Athena and looks to Doc for guidance, spring brings a baby boom of goats, reindeer, cuddly kittens, and Labrador pups and Charles and Diane surprise the docs on Vet Appreciation Day.

Meet the Chimps” takes viewers into the secret life of one of the largest and most unique wildlife sanctuaries in the world ‘Chimp Haven’: a 200-acre refuge tucked deep in the forested heart of Louisiana, which is home to more than 300 chimpanzees. Narrated by Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Lynch, this six-part series tracks the ups and downs of this extraordinary group of chimps that are given a second chance at life by a staff whose dedication, compassion and commitment knows no bounds. Through a seamless blend of natural history and observational-documentary filmmaking, “Meet the Chimps” puts the chimps – the heart and soul of the series – at front and center. A real-life drama with a full emotional range, the series gives unparalleled access to everything happening at Chimp Haven, including food squabbles, alliances, romances, ‘bromances’, tears, tantrums, high jinxes, and heartbreaks.
