Here are some of the must-see reality shows that Showmax has to offer this February.

Widows Unveiled | Showmax Original | Stream from 12 February

Widows Unveiled follows five widows who were married to public figures. The reality series documents the journeys of each woman from pain to triumph as they navigate the drama and scandal that followed the death of their husbands.

The cast includes PR specialist and marketing professional Lerato Sengadi, the widow of Motswako legend HHP; businesswoman Mpho Tshabalala, the widow of kwaito legend Mandoza; businesswoman Sikelelwa Ngubane, the widow of SAFTA-winning actor Menzi Ngubane; businesswoman Fundiswa Molefe, the widow of businessman John Molefe; and businesswoman Lerato Maphatsoe, the widow of former Defence Minister Kebby Maphatsoe.

The Real Housewives of Durban S4 | Showmax Original | Thursdays from 12 February

Produced by Let It Rain Films,The Real Housewives of Durban is back for a fourth season, making it the longest-running Housewives edition in Africa. In Season 4, we have returning queens Jojo Robinson, Maria Valaskatzis, Nonku Williams, Sorisha Naidoo and Silindile Wendy Ndlovu joined by newcomers Ameigh Sibahle Thompson, Nqobile “Angel” Ndlela and Zamaswazi Ngcobo.

Sam Kelly, executive producer at Let It Rain Films, says, “The new season of The Real Housewives of Durban is going to be bigger and better. Over the past seasons, we have been aiming to tell stories that audiences relate to. The Mommy Club S2 | Showmax Original | Mondays from 19 February

The record-breaking The Mommy Club is back for a second season and once again, the mommies are not holding back.

This time, we have two new mommies. Nozipho Ntshangase is an energetic, forward and enthusiastic Zulu wife and mother of eight children. She says she joined the show because she wanted to do something for herself: “When the call came for me to be on the show, I knew that I had to do it. It spoke to me as a mother. This is one of the first few times that I am doing something solely for me and it feels good.”

The second addition is Jabulile Sande. After battling depression and anxiety, the businesswoman is ready to do something for herself and reclaim her life. “I joined The Mommy Club because I have been in my shell for so long and I wanted to challenge myself. I have been suffering from anxiety and depression so me taking this step was one of the things I did to reclaim my life and just have fun,” she shared.

The new faces are set to join returning cast members Her Majesty, Mrs Mops, Nunurai and Ratile as they give us an inside look at the lives of moms who seemingly have it all and the nannies who assist them in building their empires.

Kwa Mam’Mkhize S2 | Showmax Original | Binge now

Kwa Mam’Mkhize follows the extraordinary life of Shauwn Mkhize as a single woman, a businesswoman, mother and grandmother.

Season 2 features Shauwn and her children Sbahle and Andile Mpisane, as well as her daughter-in-law, Tamia Mpisane, and her grandchildren. Season 2 of Kwa Mam’Mkhize has been consistently trending on X, making it one of the most talked-about shows on the platform.

In the season finale, Shauwn and her family get together for Christmas in their Johannesburg mansion, which was transformed into a festive wonderland. Shauwn looks back at yet another year of life lessons and successes with her loved ones.

And Sisanda Cetyiwe has a baby with Kennedy Mwene, Zambia’s most capped player.

Sadau Sisters S1 | Showmax Original | Weekly from 12 February

Sadau Sisters follows the lives of actress Rahama Sadau and her three sisters – Aisha, Fatima, and Zaina. Race To Survive: Alaska | First on Showmax | Weekly from 12 February
