Who Deserves The Seat of Power?
A First Look at Netflix’s New Drama Series, Blood Legacy
The CEO of Spear Industries is found dead in the sugarcane fields of KwaZulu-Natal, sparking a fierce battle among his children for the control of the multibillion-rand corporation. This gripping new drama series, Blood Legacy, is set to debut exclusively on Netflix on 20 September 2024.
Siblings Khanyi Adesina (Xolile Tshabalala), Mandla Ndlovu (Buyile Mdladla), and Siya Ndlovu (Mike Ndlangamandla) are locked in a war that extends far beyond the boardroom: Legacies are on the line, and betrayal lurks at every turn. This high-stakes 20-episode drama plunges into a world where corruption, greed, and power collide, pushing the siblings to confront the limits of loyalty.
In one of her final acting appearances, the incomparable Connie Chiume delivers a powerful performance as the family matriarch. She shares the screen with industry royalty Treasure Nkosi and Sello Maake Ka-Ncube, alongside talented actors Pallance Dladla, Wiseman Zitha and Unathi Mkhize.
Blood Legacy is a remake of the Mexican series Monarca and the latest offering from South African production powerhouse Gambit Films (the producers behind the successful series Blood and Water, Unseen).
