Only a month after sharing her third single, TWEE IS BETER AS EEN, with radio stations and listeners, Melanie J is back in the spotlight with a music video that’s just as impressive as the song itself.
This video, now available, was produced by Volmaan Lirieke, directed by DC Daniel, and was mainly filmed on a beach in George. Melanie J’s beautiful wedding video was filmed by Orange Vinyl Studios and parts of this video can be seen in the music video.
Because the song is based on her own love story and testimony that when you trust in God, everything in your life will eventually fall into place, the music video also includes footage of her own wedding to give it a more authentic approach.
“The idea for the video was inspired by my long-distance relationship and the sea is symbolic of the oceans that separated my husband and I before our wedding,” she shares. “The message is that no matter how far apart you live, the love that binds you will always remain.”
The 21-year-old musician, who studied music at COPA and made name for herself as the winner of the PACISA singing competition, has been in the music industry for three years.
Although she grew up in the small town of Ladysmith, she has always had big dreams for her music and has worked tirelessly to make them come true.
Over the years, she has achieved several career highlights, such as topping Bosveld Stereo’s top 20 hit parade with her song – Verdwaal.
Melanie is not only a musician, but also owns her own boutique, Mel J’s Boutique & Crafts. She also plans on emigrating to Scotland later this year where her husband, whom she recently married, and his family already reside.
TWEE IS BETER AS EEN, with its deep and meaningful lyrics and catchy melody, was produced by Artistry Productions’ Jattie de Beer, and aims to give hope to those who have given up on love.
