It is with deep regret that we announce the unforeseen postponement of Zimkitha’s scheduled show “The Black Enigma Tour” at the South African State Theatre, set to take place on the 21st of September 2024, in Pretoria. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we reached a gradual decision mutually between Escopia, Zimkitha Enigma Music and the South African State Theatre to best move the show to a newer date. With that being said, we are excited to announce to you that the new date for the show will officially be the 8th of November 2024.
We understand the disappointment this may cause to fans who were eagerly anticipating this event. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have brought to everyone involved, from the various parties and contributors to the devoted supporters who have shown unwavering enthusiasm for Zimkitha’s music.
We are actively working with the team at the South African State Theatre and our internal team to ensure that everything goes smoothly on the 8th of November 2024.Please do note that if you purchased a ticket, it will be moved or valid for the new show, do kindly keep your receipt as proof of purchase incase you purchased it in store.

About Zimkitha
Zimkitha Kumbaca, better known as Zimkitha is a singer/songwriter disciplined in music, acting, and writing. While she is from King William’s Town, Eastern Cape (South Africa); she spent her high school career in Pretoria, fine-tuning her songwriting and singing skills through poetry sessions, participating in an indie band, Travellin’ Blak, choir competitions, and vocal training.
Thereafter, she continued her studies at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) in pursuit of a diploma and Btech in Drama & Film Studies. Her acting career has yielded credits on shows such as eTV’s Matatiele playing Nontle, Amazon Prime’s Makoti S2 starring as Qhama, international feature film, Beautifully Broken, Mzansi Magic’s Mzali Wami S1 & S2, as well as S1 and S2 of Mzansi Magic’s “My Brother’s Keeper”.
It is her music career, however, that has seen her take towards R&B for collaborations with artists like Marcus Harvey, Bugzito, Beatmochini and Mo Molemi. As a musician, her craft is currently rooted in R&B/neo-soul soundscapes. In addition, Zimkitha is alsoa playwright and Naledi Theatre Award Nominated director/performer.
