Versatile singer-songwriter, actress, and model Mercedy is officially stepping back into the spotlight. Hailing from Manchester and emerging into the recording world by means of the Midlands, Mercedy possesses a striking soprano vocal range and a deeply personal approach to her art. A Tribute Rooted in Tragedy: The Debut of “GONE”
Music has been Mercedy’s lifelong passion. After catching the eye of a management team early in her journey, she prepared to step into a professional recording studio for the very first time.
Her debut single, “GONE”, was released on 5 September 2019. The track is a deeply emotional tribute to her close friend of seven years, Katelyn Parker, who tragically passed away. Written in the immediate wake of her loss as a way to process the grief, Mercedy collaborated with top producer Jorden Milnes to craft a celebration of Katelyn’s life. The music video featured members of Katelyn’s family alongside award-winning actors, and was filmed by Jorden Milnes (7GateMedia) and directed by Mercedy herself. The track resonated instantly, earning Mercedy Track of the Week on BBC Introducing with Dean Jackson just days after submission, alongside international airplay across the UK, USA, Australia, and South Africa. As with several of her other tracks, Gone has a remix.
Building Momentum and Giving Back
Following her debut, Mercedy’s former management team encouraged her prolific work rate. In 2020 and 2021, despite pandemic disruptions, she penned and recorded a series of singles. Her 2021 EP release, Break Out, featured charity singles “Break Out” and “My Soulmate Let It Go” (released 11 November 2021), with proceeds supporting the Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
Throughout her career, Mercedy has used her platform for philanthropy. Having lived with a heart condition (a congenital hole in the heart) and a muscle-wasting condition, she refuses to let health challenges define her. For over three years, she has worked closely with the Strongbones Children’s Charitable Trust, raising funds, organising events, and supporting ambassadors like Myles Sketchley. She has also reached out to the British Heart Foundation to champion heart health awareness.
Acting Background
Alongside music, Mercedy is an accomplished actress and model. Over recent years, she starred in the feature film Eleven, attending its high-profile premiere at Piccadilly in London. She also appeared in Book of Shadows, a spin-off of Game of Thrones, where she had the unique opportunity to work alongside stunt crews from Star Wars, Mission Impossible, and The Lord of the Rings.

By 2025, having conquered her health hurdles and practiced rigorously on a borrowed PA setup, Mercedy felt the creative spark return stronger than ever.
Looking Ahead: The 2026 Era
Entering 2026 with a refreshed image, refined lyricism, and updated marketing vision, Mercedy returned to the studio with producer Jorden Milnes in March. After shooting high-energy music videos in Weymouth and Portland with Popcorn-Dreams Media, she is primed for a massive year.
